Tomy Drissi

Tomy Drissi (pronounced /ˈdriːziː/ dree-zee) is an American race car driver Trans Am Champion. His driver experience includes ALMS, Trans-Am, NASCAR and Speed World Challenge.

Personal

Born in Hollywood, California, Tomy owns an advertising firm that produces upcoming film displays for cinemas. His first racing experience in motorsports was street racing on Mulholland Drive in the Hollywood Hills. Before beginning his professional racing career, Tomy started in vintage racing at Willow Springs in the mid nineties with a ‘65 Chevrolet Corvette. Other vintage cars he has raced include a Formula 5000 Lola 332, a Lola T-70 Can-Am, a 1967 Trans-Am Dana Chevrolet Camaro and a 1974 Porsche 911 RSR. He scored several vintage wins in each car. Tomy's racing idol is Mario Andretti. His favorite tracks are Long Beach and Monaco. His hobbies include playing basketball and cars. Some of his favorite movies include “Le Mans”, “The Wizard of Oz”, “Forrest Gump”, “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”, and "Star Wars". He is married to Lacy Livingston Drissi.

Made 92 Trans-Am starts from 1999–2005 and 2009–2010, earning 52 top ten finishes, 26 top five finishes, 18 podium finishes, 3 poles, and 3 wins at Long Beach Grand Prix, Portland Grand Prix, and New Jersey Grand Prix
